INVESTING WITH INTENT
We are a publicly traded private equity company whose common shares trade on the TSX Venture exchange under the trading symbol WI.
Our purpose is to create long-term wealth for shareholders by building and maintaining a portfolio of strong, stable, and profitable Western-based companies and helping them succeed.
All our investment decisions are made on a long-term basis, rather than based on the investment horizon. We also strive to maximize returns to shareholders through a “Western Sensibility” philosophy; a shareholder friendly operating model that ensures our expenses are in line with the revenue that’s generated.

Dividends
The dividend announced on April 26, 2022 is designated as “eligible” and “non-eligible” under the Income Tax Act (Canada) and any corresponding provincial legislation as outline below. Under this legislation, individuals resident in Canada may be entitled to enhanced dividend tax credits, which reduces income tax otherwise payable.
July 2022
The July 2022 dividend consists of two dividends:
“Eligible” dividend | $0.0013 |
“Non-eligible” dividend | $0.0037 |
Total payable to all common shareholders | $0.0050 |
For purposes of the enhanced dividend tax credit rules contained in the Income Tax Act (Canada), and any corresponding provincial and territorial tax legislation, the dividend in the amount of $0.0013, payable on July 29, 2022 to shareholders of record on July 15, 2022, to Canadian residents on all of our common shares, are designated as “eligible dividends”.
